How to compress large videos without losing quality.

Managing storage space in our computers and smartphones is not an easy task, with a lot of useful data a user gets confused about how to manage it and what to delete, and whatnot. Also with high-resolution cameras being normal these days, Photos and Videos easily acquire a lot of data in storage and start giving you the anxiety to delete them. A solution in the form of cloud storage comes up but you can't just upload all your data to the cloud and not everybody has a high-speed internet connection and bandwidth.

So as a solution I came up with the idea of compressing large video files to small size without losing quality so you can store more videos in that same space and also without much of the quality. Well to be honest 100 % lossless compression of videos is almost impossible as when the data gets compressed some of the information has to be lost but most of the important part remains and the video is almost high quality.

So without much further ado let's compress our videos.

METHOD 1 . VLC MEDIA PLAYER

I am sure more than 90% of viewers would have already used this software and would have installed it on their PC's but for those who don't know VLC media player as the name suggests is an open-source media player, you can play videos, audio, gif and other files like these using the player and as for the post we will use it to compress our videos.

Step 1. Open VLC media player and click and open MEDIA tab.
